We are grateful for your comments at Things Above Us, and we appreciate your reflections, the desire to hold us accountable to the Scriptures, and your loving and gracious feedback.

We want comments appearing on our site to be as thoughtful and edifying as possible. While we’ll keep the vast majority of comments you leave us, we promise to remove these:

  • Anonymous comments: We’ll accept comments from people who identify themselves.
  • Promotional comments: If a comment is solely promotional in nature, we will remove it from the site.
  • Coarse comments: While conversation and differing opinions are encouraged, all comments should be respectful towards our contributors and others, devoid of swearing.

We are committed to being gracious, knowing that any interaction is a teaching and shepherding moment for the Bride of Christ. After admonishing a commenter to follow our rules fails, a final warning will be given before a permanent banning takes place.

Contributors at Things Above Us reserve the right to remove any comments from the site, so once again, please leave comments that are respectful and useful.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding our comment policy, contact us.

Ephesians 4:29–32 –> Let no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but only such a word as is good for edification according to the need of the moment, so that it will give grace to those who hear. Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.
