Received Into the Number: A Theology of Adoption Part III- The Suffering of Job and the Fatherless

In this series, we’ve been looking at what God’s Word says about adoption as both an earthly call to care for orphans and as a picture of how He saves undeserving sinners in need of a right relationship with Him. You can read Parts I and II here. In this article, we will see how […]

Be Killing Sin – Part 1

In his work on the Mortification of Sin, that is, the killing of sin, John Owen (1616-1683) writes: “Do you mortify; do you make it your daily work; be always at it whilst you live; cease not a day from this work; be killing sin or it will be killing you.” Be killing sin or […]

The IndyCar Championship is Down to the Wire

With just two races left in the 2018 IndyCar Series, veteran Scott Dixon holds onto a narrow 29-point lead ahead of Alexander Rossi. Defending series champion Josef Newgarden stands in third, 66 points behind Dixon. Not to brag or anything, but my season predictions post had the top three drivers correctly predicted in order for […]

Made by SA007, a bomb suitcase. It is a devious puzzle, which you have to solve by defusing the "bomb" within a 5 minute time-window. After that, it will go off and "explode". Various triggers and switches will set it off prematurely when incorrectly handled. You are allowed to use anything found inside the case plus basic lock-picking tools. It'll beep ominously and also more frequently as the countdown approaches zero and tension rises. It is impossible to get it right on the first try and you will probably hear lots of explosions.

Ep. 006 | Christian Love and Unity — TAU Roundtable

In TAU Roundtable 006, the guys discuss Christian love and unity, provide some practical application, followed by plugging some books we like.

Trinitarian Prayer

Let not your hearts be troubled, dear saint of God. For the Father elected you, the Son paid your debt and the Spirit resurrected you and indwells you. The God of the universe has set His love upon you and even so, the whole trinity works in unity to bring you to perfection through intercession on your behalf. Be of good cheer as you consider this glorious truth!
